Dr. Sarah Brooksbank graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complimentary Medicine) and a Masters of Osteopathy with Distinction.
Sarah also holds a Diploma of Clinical Pilates, allowing her to educate her patients with a greater range of exercise protocols for the management and future prevention of their conditions.
Whilst completing part of her degree, Sarah worked with a local AFL team as a sports trainer where she gained further knowledge about sporting injuries and the application of first aid, taping and treatment procedures in these cases. She has also completed a dry needling and cupping course to enable her to further assist her clients and their recovery process.
After experiencing many sporting injuries first hand, Sarah found the osteopathic approach to treatment to be the most beneficial. She values the holistic approach and understands the importance of tailoring each treatment and management protocol to suit the individual. She thoroughly believes in patient education and support to assist the recovery process.
She has a great passion for Osteopathy, is very approachable and thoroughly enjoys working with people to help them get back on track. She uses a range of techniques to treat many conditions including headaches, neck pain, back and shoulder pain, muscle injuries, joint pain and sporting injuries. She often demonstrates exercises and stretches that can be incorporated into everyday life to further enhance the recovery process.
She is a member of Osteopathy Australia, registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, qualified for dry needling and is registered for private health rebates through the HICAPS facility.
