Dr. Adam Wilson graduated from RMIT with a Double Degree in Bach.App.Sc. and Bach. Osteopathic Sc. in 1999, and is one of Ivanhoe’s most experienced Osteopaths. Prior to graduating from Osteopathy he completed two years of a Science degree at Monash University. Adam has been working at Relinque Sports and Spinal Group in Ivanhoe since 1999
Adam has a particular interest in treating patients with complex chronic complaints. He is extremely thorough with his Osteopathic musculoskeletal examination, and takes pride in finding postural strains and patterns that have been causing problems for a majority of his clients lives.
Throughout his career in Osteopathy at Relinque Sports & Spinal Group in Ivanhoe, Adam has worked closely with Olympic athletes, AFL footballers, state and national level basketball and hockey players. He supports many local and domestic grade sporting clubs and takes great pride from seeing all of his clients moving efficiently and performing at their best.
He continues to attend courses and seminars in his field of interest as he feels it is important to maintain a high level of education and knowledge in his practice.
Adam is as local to Ivanhoe as you can get. He was born in Ivanhoe, attended both primary and secondary school at Ivanhoe Grammar. He played footy for Ivanhoe amateurs and tennis for Eaglemont tennis club. It is through this very strong connection with the Ivanhoe community that he now supports and sponsors many local schools, sporting clubs and businesses.
He has travelled overseas working at various ski resorts in Canada and still pursues his love for snow skiing.
He is a member of Osteopathy Australia, registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, qualified for dry needling and is registered for private health rebates through the HICAPS facility.
